Tour of the Leonard Reid House, 11:00 a.m.—Mon. Jan. 27, Orange Ave. and Martin Luther King Blvd.
Leonard Reid, was an original owner of the house and played a significant role in the development of Sarasota's African American community's growth. The house was relocated to its present location and has been repurposed as Sarasota's new African American Cultural Arts and History Center. Vickie Oldham, president and CEO of the Sarasota African American Cultural Coalition will be our host and tour leader.
