Heritage Oaks GCC Kayaking Day

Please meet in the breezeway between 9:00-9:15 am - we will then travel as a group to the launch site.

We will be launching at 10:00 am from Curry Creek. The paddles last approximately 2 hours. Curry Creek is located in the Nokomis-Venice area near Legacy Trail. Enjoy the preserve and explore the area after.

Single and tandem kayaks are available, so please specify which you prefer. Have friends or family in town? Above Board Paddle Co. & Silent Sports Outfitters have kayaks for all! Can't make it to this event? Kayaking is set for the third Wednesday of every month throughout season (unless announced otherwise). Members are responsible for their own transportation. Exploring and eating lunch after is encouraged! Have your own kayaks and want to join? You may join the Above Board?SSO group, the fee is $20.
